High Definition Camera
At Wined Up productions we use the Canon XA-10 and XA-20 AVCHD cameras. AVCHD or
Advanced Video Coding High Definition is a file-based format for the
digital recording and playback of high definition video. This allows
for full HD playback of 1080p i.e. 1080 horizontal lines of vertical
resolution and progressive scan. Full 1080p playback can be attained
through the production of edited videos onto USB playable on any Blu-ray
player or TV with USB input. Another feature of the Canon XA-10
and XA-20 is the 9
Cinema-look filters that can be applied during recording to give the
video a dramatic appearance. Choose from; Cinema Standard, Vivid,
Dream, Cool, Nostalgic, Sepia, Old Movie, Memory and Dramatic B&W.
Our movie below demonstrates some of these filters. Best viewed in
720p or 1080p. Cinema filter demonstration below. This video has had
over 41000 views on YouTube!
Chroma Key Green Screen
At Wined Up Productions we use a
Chroma key green screen. Chroma key compositing, or Chroma keying,
is a special effects / post-production technique for compositing
(layering) two images or video streams together based on colour hues
(Chroma range). The technique has been used heavily in many fields
to remove a background from the subject of a photo or video –
particularly the news casting, motion picture and videogame
industries. A colour range in the top layer is made transparent,
revealing another image behind. Have a look at our demonstration
video below.
Cinemover - Camera Dolly
Videos benefit greatly from the camera being in motion on a horizontal
axis. This technique is used frequently in motion pictures and is difficult to achieve by hand alone but with the Cinemover camera
dolly we are able to achieve great results. Use of the Cinemover camera dolly
will add an artistic edge to your video production. feel free to have a look at
the demonstration video below.
